“ Came in on a Friday night, no wait! The place is spacious and perfect for a night out with friends! We had the corn cheese, thick pork belly, half and half pajeon and chicken wings. We loved the corn cheese and pork belly! Their portions are really big. Their staff is super friendly and attentive as well. Will definitely be coming back ”
“ Great Korean bar with great food. The bar manager, Joon is so welcoming and serviceable. Be sure to stop by if you're in the area! ”
“ A pleasant surprise for us. From the outside you know this is a popular Korean pub-like place which typically the food takes a second chair to the drinking. The pleasant surprise was the food is actually pretty good. We stumbled upon this place by accident and will be returning. ”
“ This was our first experience with a Korean pocha. We came in on a Friday around 6:15. We got seated immediately. The restaurant has an active lively bar feel but has plenty of tables. We ordered spicy beef "hot pot" style which was served with plenty of veggies and glass noodles in an iron skillet over a portable burner. We also ordered the spicy chicken with cheese, kimchi pancake and an order of sweet potato fries. To drink we shared a black raspberry shochu. Food: the "hot pot" broth started to sizzle and cooked the veggies and noodles. It was spicy but not unbearable. The serving was definitely enough for four. The spicy chicken was hot but tasty and went well with the cheese. (It also was a nice serving and could have easily fed at least two) Then kimchi pancake was well cook with alot of kimchi but not hot. It tasted good with the ponzu style dipping sauce. The sweet potato fries were very thinly sliced and fried crispy and dusted with powder sugar. It was a huge serving. Our server(s) were all very friendly and attentive. We will definitely come here again if we ever are in the area again. ”
“ A pub with all the good comfort food that you can ask for with friendly service and a lively atmosphere. Far from the formality of traditional Korean restaurants, Soosanghan Pocha delves into the single, lively scene of social life. We did come back here with our kids and they didn't bat an eyelash and were welcoming. We got the Bossam, the beef intestines, stir-fried octopus, popcorn chicken, cheesy corn, thick pork belly, sweet potato fries, dumplings, and Kloud beer. There are sides and little plates to order as well, and unlike traditional Korean places, there are no banchan served. Karaoke after dinner hits well. Private parking lot can get full, street parking available. ”
“ First time here and the food was so good! Truly awesome Korean comfort food! We came during lunch but ordered from the dinner menu since the lunch menu has a limited selection. While the prices were higher, there was plenty of food left over. The parking lot is also a huge plus! ”
“ A new Korean experience for me. We usually eat at the Korean BBQ places and this hip sit down dinner is different. My friend ordered us the seafood soup and the chicken and that was enough for me for dinner. The portions are generous so definitely plan for that or a to go bag. There were lots on the menu I wanted to try but these two were enough for me to tap out. Next time, I'll try the other dishes. Service is fast so need not worry about that. I can say, this place is busy when some of the restaurants on the block have no one so that speaks volumes. So reserve your table. ”
“ Service was pretty good but they did miss one of our drink orders and we were still charged for it. It'a worth noting that we were there on a busy Saturday. Really great for a big group of people or celebrating a birthday! Standout dishes were Cheese Buldak, Pork Belly, and Scallion Chicken. If you come here and only order one dish the Cheese Buldak is a must! The spicy chicken topped with melted cheese is a game changer. Most dishes can serve 2-3 people so order accordingly! ”
“ I can't believe I never left a review for Soosanghan Pocha. I was first introduced to this place in 2021 and it's been my go-to spot for all things Korean. It has a club-like atmosphere at night/weekends and the music can be a bit loud. It has metal tables and short stools reminiscent of the outdoor pojang-machas in Korea. The bar area just recently opened with some of the most comfortable, plush velvet bar stools I've sat on (haha)! You can't go wrong with any of the fried food here. Whether the fries, popcorn chicken, katsu - all of their fried selections come out crispy and piping hot. The service is great. The servers all tend to each other's table so you're always cared for. When you're celebrating something, they bring out sparklers for your table. I've been here to have happy hour with co-workers, celebrate birthdays, and even New Year's Eve. This is a great spot to have a drink with friends. ”
